The overall effect of of this Ketubah is that of an exotic Persian carpet. Atop the text grows a Tree of Life with "Chai" in the center. The lower circle, symbolizing life and continuity, holds a moonlit Sabbath scene. The outside border contains verses echoing the promise of the seven wedding blessings.
